About Edith Cowan University
Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a public research university based in Perth, Western Australia, named after Edith Cowan, the first woman elected to the Australian Parliament. Established in 1991, ECU operates three campuses, Joondalup, Mount Lawley, and Bunbury (South West), and hosts the world-renowned Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). The university has over 31,000 students, including around 7,000 international students from more than 100 countries, and offers over 400 courses across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
