About International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL)

INTERPOL is the world's largest international police organization, facilitating cooperation between law enforcement agencies across more than 190 member countries. Founded in 1923 as the International Criminal Police Commission (ICPC) and renamed INTERPOL in 1956, it helps police forces share information and coordinate operations to combat terrorism, cybercrime, organized crime, and other transnational threats through its network of national bureaus, databases, and secure communication systems. Beyond law enforcement operations, INTERPOL offers a Graduate Scheme / Internship Program at its General Secretariat, giving students and young professionals hands-on experience across areas like cybercrime, forensics, and international police cooperation.
