How to Apply

This scholarship is designed to reward applicants who have been offered a place to study with UEA and who can clearly and concisely explain how they will make the most of their time here through their involvement in extracurricular activities.

Applications for this scholarship can be submitted via video, audio or in writing. We would like you to respond to the following two questions:

Tell us about yourself and why you want to study at UEA

Consider the different social and extra-curricular opportunities available to you at UEA, and outline how you may engage with these in order to enhance your experience and those of your fellow students.

Submissions should be via the application form below. Video must be .mp4 format, filmed in standard definition (not HD or UHD) and no longer than 2 minutes in length. Written submissions must be no more than 500 words.

This is an opportunity to go beyond your personal statement, mention UEA specifically and tell us why UEA is the right university for you. You may find it helpful to look at the opportunities available via UEA’s Student Union.

We are looking for original, engaging responses that show what you will bring to the UEA community during your studies and beyond.

We would encourage you to submit your scholarship application as soon as you feel it is ready. Applications will be considered by a panel made up of academic staff in early May and you will hear whether you have been successful by the beginning of June. Scholarships will be subject to your meeting the academic requirements of your offer.

The deadline for application is 12pm on Monday 26th April 2027.
