About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public research university based in Adelaide, South Australia, established in 1966 as the Flinders University of South Australia. Its main Bedford Park campus sits on 156 acres of gardens and native bushland, about 12km south of the Adelaide city centre, with additional campuses at Tonsley, Victoria Square, and study centres extending into the Northern Territory. Flinders is particularly strong in health sciences, psychology, and medicine, and is known for hands-on, practical learning with small class sizes. The university enrolls around 25,000 students, including a significant international population, and has produced 5 Rhodes Scholars and 26 Fulbright Scholars.
