Chevening

Chevening is the UK government's international scholarships and fellowships programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations, supporting future leaders to develop the skills they need to build more resilient, prosperous, and sustainable societies. Established in 1983 as the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Awards Scheme (FCOAS), it was renamed Chevening in 1994 after Chevening House, the official residence of the UK Foreign Secretary. Since its founding, Chevening has given over 50,000 exceptional professionals the chance to advance in the UK.
